A beautiful, evergreen shrub native to Japan and South Korea that can reach 6 m tall but usually stays much smaller, with sparsely branched, slender stems that each carry one or several terminal crowns of deeply lobed, palmate leaves. The terminal, branched inflorescences appear in fall or winter and hold many heads of tiny white flowers. It likes a humid, shady spot in the temperate garden and is suitable for USDA Zones 7 to 10.

This is easy to grow and is becoming very popular as a must have shrub in large UK gardens.
